Studio Nuts designed and developed the new 3D characters—Rally(rabbit), Ali(bird), Doni(minipig), and Burtie(turtle)—for Naver Pay’s character-based points accumulation service, ‘Raising PayPet’. While preserving the signature adorable design and tactile, fluffy charm of the original characters, we focused on establishing new, unique silhouettes and distinct designs for this latest lineup. In this project, we particularly emphasized the visual transformation at each growth stage, clearly defining the design progression and distinct personalities as the characters level up. Also, we created a total of 210 animations for seven characters. Our focus was on implementing unique motions that highlight each animal's biological traits while ideating distinct animation variations for every growth stage. All animations were developed with GLB optimization to ensure seamless real-time performance within the mobile app environment.


^{스튜디오넛츠는 네이버페이의 캐릭터 기반 포인트 적립 서비스 ‘페이펫 키우기’의 신규 캐릭터 ‘랠리(토끼)’, ‘알리(새)’, ‘도니(미니피그)’, ‘버티(거북이)’의 캐릭터를 디자인하고 제작했습니다. 기존 페이펫 캐릭터들 특유의 귀엽고 앙증맞은 디자인과 복슬복슬한 촉각적인 매력은 유지하면서, 신규 캐릭터들만의 새로운 실루엣과 독특한 디자인을 살렸습니다. 특히 이번 프로젝트에서는 캐릭터 성장에 따른 레벨별 외형 변화를 한층 더 부각하여, 캐릭터 성장에 따른 디자인적 차별화와 개성을 명확히 표현했습니다. 아울러 7종 캐릭터의 애니메이션 210종을 제작하여, 각 동물의 생태적 특징을 살린 개성 있는 모션을 구현함과 동시에 캐릭터 성장에 따른 애니메이션 변화를 위한 아이데이션을 진행했습니다. 모든 애니메이션은 모바일 앱 환경 내 실시간 구동을 위해 GLB 최적화 작업이 병행되었습니다.}
